Sandvik Camping in the middle of the Sognefjord is surrounded by plenty of different types of activities and attractions, and is therfore the perfect basecamp for your holiday.
From all of our cabins and the campground we do have direct view to a part of the glacier area. Just 30km from the campsite you find Nigardsbreen. This is the glacierpart which is easiest to reach. At Nigardsbreen there are daily guided glacierhikes, for the whole family.
At Sandvik Camping we have 28 cabins of different sizes and standards. 12 of the cabins are basic campingcabins without shower and toilets, and 16 of the cabins are high standards cabins with shower and toilet and fully equipped kitchens.

We are three students from Luster Ungdomsskule(middle school) who work with improving the information on Sandvik Camping’s website. We do this in connection with the entrepeneurship week, 4.-10.april. In advance, we have chosen the topic tourism/guiding. We chose this because we find it interesting, and because tourism is a big part of the business community here in Luster. If we find good solutions to the problems or issues, we will be able to do something good for the business as well as going further in a competition in Vik. There, the best solution/pupil establishment will be awarded.
